Public Education

Public education is a key component of our work and we offer presentations which discuss important fire safety issues, and gives simple advice on how to reduce the risk of fire to you and your family no matter where you are.

The Kyola Fire and Rescue Service has a school based education program that it delivers to junior primary school students and can visit your school to talk to your class about fire safety. We also encourage schools to visit our fire stations as part of our school based program, to look over our fire trucks and talk to our firefighters about fire safety.

We can also attend your community group meeting and deliver a talk on fire safety and fire preparedness to the meeting. For school visits or fire safety talks please contact our Education Officer.
