In the name of God, Amen. I, David Hindman of the Township of Allegheny and County of Westmoreland, sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God. Calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hand of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recomment to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form: 1st I give and bequeath to Agnes, my dearly beloved wife, the sum of 393 pounds lawful money and 55 pounds lent my son John Hindman with all my household furniture and the old mare and likewise to my daughter, Sarah Hindman, the young mare and likewise my son Samuel Hindman to have his choice of the rest of the horses, one for himself and the remaining part of my horses and cows to be disposed as the above named three sees proper and likewise I nominate, constitute and appoint Agnes Hindman and Thomas Hindman and Samuel Hindman to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other former testament, wills, legacies, bequests and executors by me in any wise before mentioned, willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this twenty-nineth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two.

Last will and testament, in the name of God, Amen:

I, William M. Hindman, Union township, Jefferson county and State of Pennsylvania, being of [unknown]

health and sound in mind and memory calling to mind the uncertainty of human life do make this my last Will and Testament.

And first: I commend my soul to God, who gave it, and my body to be buried in a Christian manner.

First, my will is that all my Just debts and funeral expenses [unknown]

paid out of my estate, as soon after my decease as possible. Item Second: I give [unknown]

unto my two sons Lewis C. and Joseph W. all my farm situate in Union Township, Jefferson county

and state of Pennsylvania bounded on the north by J. McCauley Simpson [unknown]

on the east by Mrs. Crooks and Dallas Monks, on the south by Dallas Monks and [unknown]

Hindman. On the West by J. G. J. B. and David Simpsons, containing one hundred [unknown]

nine acres, more or less, Together with all the buildings, Stock farming utensils and [unknown]

said farm. Also, the undivided half of certain tract or piece of ground, situated [unknown]

township, bought of Ruloff Fuloffson, by my son and myself containing [unknown]

and ninety-eight acres, and two [unknown].

This I give on condition that they, Joseph W. and Louis C. shall pay the amount

hereafter specified to my four daughters. Item [unknown]

give and bequeath to each of my four daughters, mainly Elizabeth Brown, [unknown]

M. Priscilla and Margaret Jane, four hundred dollars, to be paid and to them by my sons

Lewis C. and Joseph W. as soon as convenient after my son Joseph W. becomes of age and [unknown]

ten years from that day. Item 4: I give and bequeath and to my son Jackson [unknown]

-dred dollars in addition to what I have already given him during my lifetime [unknown]

of moneys that may come into the hands of my executor hereinafter mentioned. [unknown]

I give and bequeath and to my son John, (in addition to what I have given him [unknown]

life) ten dollars. Item 6: The remainder of my money, if any, I give and bequeath to my sons Lewis C.

and Joseph W. in testimony wherof. I have, herein to set my hand [unknown]

seal this thirtieth day of December, one thousand, eight hundred, and seventy-two, [unknown]

do appoint William S. Morrison to be the executor of this my Last Will and Testament.

The above instrument was at the date thereof declared to us by the testator,

to be his last will and testament and he then knowledged to us that he had subscribed

the same, and we at his request signed our names hereto as attesting witnesses.
