The Village Map uses an Alpha / Numeric grid.
Using the Village Map in conjunction with the Map Directories gives the reader the ability to quickly locate the position of properties and sites on the map. (The Village Map forms the centre point of the Parish Map)
On viewing the Map. Click on the "Zoom" control to enlarge or reduce the image size. Then use the "Scroll Bars" at the bottom and side to navigate and see the map in detail.
To enable the viewer to see this map and allow it to load it quickly, the image has been considerably compressed from its original file size. There is a small corresponding loss of clarity in the detail, but we have retained as much as we can, so that you can still clearly discern the wonderful detail that Peter captured in his drawing.
