The Cold War

The Cold War saw the rise of political opposition to the government across the nation and sparked the beginning of counter-culture. The student body became more and more politically involved, as the students participated in various protests. Most notably, the students participated in many protests surrounding the Vietnam War. Many of the Yellow Jacket Weekly articles feature ads calling for student participation in various demonstrations.
