In the 20th volume of the Student Yearbook, there is a dedication to the students who served in the military as a part of the Great War. Although the war lasted from 1914-1918, United States intervention in the conflict was relativley brief, as the it did not engage in the conflict until 1917. Therefore, responses to the Great War were, by virtue, less impactful than those of the Civil War or the Second World War.
