World War II

According to an oral history, uniformed troops were being trained on college property.

The World War II era yearbooks also feature the "Roll of Honor," a list of students who died during the war effort. This tribute shows not only that R-MC students were fighting in the conflict, but that they were also supporting the effort from home by preserving the memory of those who fell in the violence of war.

The Yellow Jacket Weekly has a collumn titled "Army Calls 4 R-M Athletes [sic.]," illustrating that students are promoting the war effort from within the college community, as the Yellow Jacket Weekly is a student run publication.
