The passage of this legislation gave countless women the opportunity to play college sports, including at RMC.

Randolph-Macon was one of the founding members of the Old Dominion Athletic Confrence. Making the switch in 1976, RMC joined the ODAC after the Mason-Dixon Conference was disbanded.
