Info: Peer Corps is a student organization whose #1 goal is to assist new/incoming students in their adjustment to the International Academy. Peer Corps, as a whole, is responsible for planning and running the freshmen/incoming-student orientation in August. Mentors are also responsible for individually checking in with and providing support for their mentees throughout the year. Peer Corps mentors are responsible, reliable, and motivated juniors and seniors who show concern for others and strive to make a close community of learners. Students go through an application process in order to become Peer Corps mentors and are required to attend both the training and orientation days in August before school starts.
