About us:
Welcome to Music Improv Club! Our club was created with the sole purpose of incorporating more spontaneity in Music in hopes of helping students find/increase their love for music, while also improving their listening skills while playing with groups! We know that school and life can be stressful, and that is why we decided to make this a club. Music can be a way to relieve stress and distract the brain from other thoughts. The club name is self explanatory: we play music for fun.

What we do:
Do I need to learn sheet music?
No! You can play by ear, arrange your own music, or just play chords (sheet music is up to you).
How is the music picked?
During our first club meeting everyone will recommend what they want to play and we will then make a list and vote for songs.
Do I have to play in Band or Orchestra?
No! Any instrument is allowed and you don't have to be "good" at it. You can also participate by singing.
Do I have to participate in every club meeting?
We recommend attending most meetings. The first meetings are the most important but after that it is up to you when you want to attend.
