Aeroastro

At AeroAstro IA, we put the laws of physics and aerodynamics to work in real life. Every year, we compete in the Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC), which involves designing and building a model rocket from scratch that must carry an egg to a specific altitude and back safely. We do serious engineering work, including calculations, computer-aided design, prototyping, and actual experimental testing. If you’re an aspiring engineer and love rockets, DIY projects, or just want to be part of an amazing team, AeroAstro IA is definitely the club for you!

This year, we will be creating a brand new team of students who want to attend TARC, and for those not able to participate, we hope to expand the clubs horizons into everything else aerospace related!
