Planting Milkweed for Monarchs

MONARCH BUTTERFLIES NEED OUR HELP!

The monarch butterfly population is in sharp decline as milkweed plants –the only source of food for monarch caterpillars– is disappearing from our landscape at an ever increasing rate. Nebraska is situated on a monarch migration pathway, giving us a unique position to restore monarch numbers by planting milkweed. It's as simple as that!

Help Green Bellevue collect information about the numbers and locations of new milkweed plantings in our area. This information may be shared with partnering organizations to update a plant census.
