Introduction to Computer Programming

Mathematics Curriculum

Prerequisite: Algebra 1 

(Half Year– 0.50 Credit) 4450 - Level 2 

This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of computer programming. Students will be introduced to object oriented programming in the Microsoft Small Basic language, which is specifically designed to be accessible to beginners. The class will cover the topics of variables, conditionals, loops, arrays, string manipulation and others. Page 46 Special emphasis will be placed on graphical interface. Each student will be responsible for creating a culminating project of his or her own design.
