Ikasle-Irakasleak Vienan

VISIT TO VIENNA

During the last week of term, two teachers accompanied eight second-year Mechatronics students on a fact-finding trip to Vienna, funded by the NextGenerationEU program. IES Zaraobe BHI allows the students to study some subjects in English, and this program provides resources for activities to improve the students English level and also take part in extracurricular activities.

The objective of this trip was to give the students the opportunity to practise what they have learnt and also to visit local organisations related to their studies. With the students’ input we planned an exciting itinerary which provided stimulating visits and cultural experiences in the city. For example:

• Vienna Museum of Science and Technology. Fascinating exhibits on topics like transport, energy and industry, showing real examples of machines used in these fields, some of which are interactive.

• Freudenau Hydroelectric Power Plant on the Danube. We were able to visit the interior of the building where 6 turbines generate green energy for the city.

• HTL Moedling. This is the largest vocational college for students between 14 and 19 year-olds in Austria, with more than 3,500 students. We were able to see the different activities they perform in their Mechatronics course. We are forging a connection with the college and hopefully we will be able to initiate an exchange program in the near future.

• TU Wien Pilot Factory Industry 4.0. This is a research institute utilising the technologies of the industry of tomorrow.

While visiting Vienna, we visited different Christmas markets, with different stalls offering different gifts, souvenirs, and food. They were especially beautiful during the evening, when all the illumination was switched on. We also had the chance to visit Stephansdom, which is a spectacular cathedral, and were delighted to see up to 100 children choir singing Christmas carols during an evening event. A visit to the Museum of Natural history to see hundreds of life-size animal exhibits, or visiting the breathtaking Karlskirche church were other very entertaining activities that we did while walking through the eye-catching streets of Vienna.

It was a fantastic trip that we really enjoyed. Hopefully in the upcoming years more students can also be part of this program and live an unforgettable experience while they learn.

VIENAKO EGONALDIA

Abenduko klaseetako azken astean, Mekatronikako zortzi ikasle eta bi irakasle NextGenerationEU programak finantzatuta Vienara egin genuen bidai bat. IES Zaraobe BHIk irakasgai batzuk ingelesez ikasteko aukera ematen die ikasleei, eta programa honek baliabideak eskaintzen ditu ikasleen ingeles maila hobetzeko eta eskolaz kanpoko jardueretan parte hartzeko.

Bidaia honen helburua ikasleei ikasitakoa praktikatzeko aukera ematea eta ikasketekin zerikusia duten tokiko erakundeak bisitatzeazen. Ikasleen ekarpenarekin ibilbide interesgarrii bat antolatu zen, hirian bisita eta esperientzia kultural bizigarriak eskaintzen zituena. Adibidez:

Vienako Zientzia eta Teknologia Museoa. Garraioa, energia eta industria bezalako gaiei buruzko erakusketa liluragarriak, alor hauetan erabiltzen diren makinen benetako adibideak erakutsiz, horietako batzuk interaktiboak zirelarik.

Freudenauko zentral hidroelektrikoa Danubion. Energia berdea sortzen dute hiriarentzat dauzkan 6 turbinak erabiliz.

HTL Moedling. Austriako 14 eta 19 urte bitarteko ikasleentzako lanbide-heziketako ikastetxerik handiena da, 3.500 ikasle baino gehiagorekin. Han Mekatronika zikloan egiten dituzten jarduerak ikusi ahal izan genituen. Ikastetxearekin harremanetan gaude, eta espero dugu etorkizun hurbilean truke-programa bat abiatzea ikasleak hara bidaliz.

TU Wien Pilot Factory Industry 4.0. Ikerketa institutu bat da, etorkizuneko industriaren teknologiak erabiltzen dituena.

Viena bisitatzen genuen bitartean, Eguberrietako merkatu ezberdinak bisitatu genituen, opari, oroigarri eta janari ezberdinak eskaintzen zituzten postuekin. Bereziki ederrak izan ziren arratsean, argiztapen guztia pizten zutenean. Stephansdom katedrala bisitatzeko aukera ere izan genuen, eta gustura ikusi genituen 100 haur gabon kantak abesten gaueko ekitaldi batean. Natur Historiaren Museora egindako bisita, tamaina naturaleko animalien erakusketa ikusteko, edo Karlskirche eliza bisitatzea izan ziren Vienako kale ikusgarria

ESTANCIA EN VIENA

Durante la última semana del trimestre, dos profesores acompañaron a ocho estudiantes de segundo curso de Mecatrónica en un viaje de investigación a Viena, financiado por el programa Next Generation EU. El IES Zaraobe BHI permite al alumnado estudiar algunas asignaturas en inglés, y este programa proporciona recursos para actividades que mejoren el nivel de inglés del alumnado y también participen en actividades extracurriculares.

El objetivo de este viaje fue dar a los/las estudiantes la oportunidad de practicar lo que han aprendido y también visitar organizaciones locales relacionadas con sus estudios. Con la participación del alumnado, planificamos un itinerario atractivo y motivador que ofrecía visitas y experiencias culturales en la ciudad. Por ejemplo:

• Museo de Ciencia y Tecnología de Viena. Fascinantes exposiciones sobre temas como transporte, energía e industria, mostrando ejemplos reales de máquinas utilizadas en estos campos, algunas de las cuales son interactivas.

• Central Hidroeléctrica de Freudenau en el Danubio. Pudimos visitar el interior del edificio donde 6 turbinas generan energía verde para la ciudad.

• HTL Moedling. Esta es la escuela de formación profesional más grande para estudiantes de entre 14 y 19 años en Austria, con más de 3.500 estudiantes. Pudimos ver las diferentes actividades que realizan en su curso de Mecatrónica. Estamos estableciendo una conexión con la escuela y esperamos poder iniciar un programa de intercambio en un futuro cercano.

• Fábrica Piloto TU Wien Industria 4.0. Este es un instituto de investigación que utiliza las tecnologías de la industria del futuro.

Mientras visitábamos Viena, recorrimos diferentes mercados navideños, con  variedad de puestos que ofrecían regalos, souvenirs y comida. Eran especialmente hermosos durante la noche, cuando todas las luces estaban encendidas. También tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar Stephansdom, que es una catedral espectacular, y nos alegramos de ver hasta 100 niños cantando villancicos durante un evento nocturno. Una visita al Museo de Historia Natural para ver cientos de exhibiciones de animales a tamaño real, o visitar la impresionante iglesia de Karlskirche, fueron otras actividades muy entretenidas que hicimos mientras paseábamos por las llamativas calles de Viena.

Fue un viaje fantástico que realmente disfrutamos. Esperamos que en los próximos años más estudiantes puedan también ser parte de este programa y vivir una experiencia inolvidable mientras aprenden.
