Hello!

Hello All! I’m Traci Brisendine, and I’m so excited to be walking beside you on your educational journeys. This is my 19th year in education and my 8th year with Yosemite Valley Charter. I have a background in Early Childhood Development with a credential specializing in Early Education. I began working with littles, ages Birth to 3, as a Play Therapist for a local non-profit. At that time, I ran a social and language development classroom where I developed a passion for early literacy and language development through a play-based approach. I’ve previously taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades at a brick-and-mortar elementary school before transitioning to this incredible charter we are a part of. It is truly an honor to partner with you and your TK learners! 

When I’m not working with you all, I’m a mom to my two incredible kids and wife to my amazing husband. You can find me dragging them on all sorts of amazing adventures, because my love of travel runs deep! Looking forward to a great year!
