Welcome to Transitional Kindergarten! I am so thrilled to begin this school year with you!

My journey to early childhood education was a bit of a plot twist! I actually went to college at Fresno State planning to become a high school history teacher. While earning my Bachelor’s degree, I worked for an after-school program in Kingsburg for ten years. Seven years into that role, I was put in charge of the TK students and I instantly fell in love and never looked back. That experience completely shifted my path, leading straight into five incredible years as a TK teacher in Kingsburg. Now, I am beyond excited to bring that passion to Central Valley Homeschool and partner with your family during these foundational years.

Outside the classroom, my life centers around family, friends, and a lot of warmth. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and have been together for nine wonderful years, two of them married! At home, we are devoted cat parents to two sweet felines who keep us constantly entertained. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me hosting board game nights with close friends or gathering with my family for our favorite tradition: whole-day sewing sessions!

We have an amazing year ahead of us filled with hands-on discovery, new friendships, and endless growth. I can’t wait to partner with you to make your child’s TK experience joyful, inspiring, and truly unforgettable!
