Hello!

Hi! I’m Lisa Ornta, and I’m so excited to be part of your child’s TK journey this year at Central Valley Charter Schools. This is my fifth year with the school and my fourth year supporting TK families. Before joining CVCS, I taught Kindergarten in Fresno Unified and also homeschooled my own children for more than 10 years. That experience gave me a real appreciation for the flexibility homeschooling offers, and I love helping families create a learning experience that works well for their child.

One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing parents tailor their child’s learning, follow their interests, and celebrate all those little moments of growth along the way.

Outside of school, I’ve enjoyed teaching Sunday School, volunteering at Valley Children’s Hospital with my daughter, and spending time with my family. In my free time, I love reading, baking, skiing, and traveling.
