Where to go for more information

The York Graduate Research School handbook provides information on central services and support, including accommodation, finance, living in York and further information on Careers, the Library, and other University services.

We want you to get the most out of your experience and feel a sense of belonging to York, no matter where you are based. We aim to support you by making sure you know where to go if you need help and by providing resources, contacts and opportunities to connect with fellow online and distance learners. There is a downloadable handbook, and other useful information, on the webpage for Online and Distance Learners.

Our department webpages have information for current postgraduate researchers, as well as information about the research
