Withdrawal

Withdrawal is the term used when a postgraduate researcher decides to permanently leave the University before completing their programme of study. If you wish to withdraw from your course and leave the University, you should complete the Intention to Withdraw form, available via e-vision.

Leaving the University is an important decision, so we want to make sure that you are aware of all the options available and that you have access to the right advice and support. Therefore, once you submit the form, a Student Adviser will contact you within two working days. If after your conversation with a Student Adviser you still wish to withdraw, you will be asked to complete a Confirmation of Withdrawal form.

You are encouraged to speak to your supervisor if you are considering withdrawing, and support is also available from the GSA.
