Attendance and Absence
You are expected to attend and participate in all learning activities related to your academic programme. This policy outlines expectations for engagement and attendance at timetabled lessons, and all other learning activities.
Engagement will be monitored to ensure:
▪ You have the best chance of academic success
▪ The college can provide you with additional pastoral support
▪ You are fully compliant with your UKVI Student Visa requirements

Absence Form
When you're absent from classes, please complete an absence notification form. The absence notification form can be found below or via this link:
An Absence Form should be completed for each day of absence, giving detailed reasons for your absence. (e.g if you are absent from 3 classes in any one day you need to submit 1 Absence form for the 3 classes but if you are absent for 3 days you should submit 3 Absence Forms).
Please be aware, you will still be marked absent in the classes you missed after you submit the form, however we will take your absence form into account when we are reviewing your weekly attendance.
