Cysylltir cyflawniad yn aml gyda lefel presenoldeb uchel. Felly, pwysleisir pwysigrwydd presenoldeb a phrydlondeb yn gyson drwy’r flwyddyn, gan yr ysgol hon. O ganlyniad i Ddeddf Addysg 1996, y mae’n rhaid i’r ysgol gadw cofnodion manwl a chywir ynglŷn â phresenoldeb ein disgyblion. Rydym yn gofyn yn garedig i chi gysylltu â’r ysgol drwy adael neges ar ein peiriant ateb os yw eich plentyn yn absennol ar unrhyw ddiwrnod. Os yw presenoldeb eich plentyn yn disgyn o dan ein targedau ni fel ysgol yn ystod y flwyddyn, byddwn yn cysylltu â chi ar ffurf galwad ffôn neu lythyr. Os oes pryder am bresenoldeb eich plentyn bydd ein Swyddog Lles, Mrs Sharon Risby, yn cysylltu â chi i drafod ymhellach. Ein targed presenoldeb yw 98%.

Rydym bellach yn dilyn camau gweithredu ‘Callio’ i gyd-weithio gyda’n rhieni i sicrhau lefelau uchel o bresenoldeb yn yr ysgol. 

Gwyrdd/ Green - 97% - 100%
Oren/ Amber - 92% - 97%
Coch/ Red - O dan / Under 92%. 

Rydym hefyd yn cyhoeddi presenoldeb eich plentyn yn wythnosol ar ‘Classcharts’.

Mae’n rhaid i ddisgyblion gyrraedd eu cyfnod cofrestru yn brydlon am 08:25. Mae’n hanfodol i unrhyw blentyn sydd yn cyrraedd safle’r ysgol yn hwyr arwyddo mewn gan ddefnyddio’r peiriannau electronig yn y brif swyddfa. Os mae hwn yn broblem gyson, fe fydd disgwyl i’ch plentyn siarad gydag aelod o’n Tîm Presenoldeb. 

Credwn fod lles a chynnydd yn dod law yn llaw ac o’r herwydd, mae presenoldeb a chyswllt rheolaidd ag athrawon a staff bugeiliol yn rhan hanfodol o gefnogi pob plentyn i ffynnu. 

There is a proven link between high attendance levels and attainment. This is why we remind the students constantly of the importance of high attendance and punctuality. Following the 1996 Education Act we are required to keep accurate attendance records, detailing both dates and reasons for pupil absence. We kindly ask all parents to contact the school at the earliest convenience and leave a detailed message on the answering machine if your child is absent. If your child’s attendance in school falls below a level we consider to be acceptable we will contact you. If this is a regular occurrence you will receive correspondence from our Welfare Officer, Mrs Sharon Risby who will arrange a meeting between school and parents. 

Our target is 98%.

At Cwm Rhymni, we utilise the Callio system at school whereby you receive termly updates of your child’s current attendance figure. 

Green - 97% - 100%
Amber - 92% - 97%
Red - Under 92%

We also publish your child’s weekly attendance via Classcharts. All pupils are required to be present for registration at 08:25am. It is of utmost importance that any pupils who are late arriving at the school premises sign in using our electronic system in the main office. If this is a persistent habit, your child will be required to speak with a member of the attendance team.

We believe that wellbeing and progress come hand in hand and as such, attendance and regular contact with teachers and pastoral staff is an essential part of supporting every child to thrive.
