Mae Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni wedi ymrwymo i ddarparu addysg gynhwysol i’r holl ddisgyblion ac yn ymdrechu’n gyson i ddiwallu anghenion disgyblion unigol. Trwy arferion sy’n canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn, mae staff ein hysgol yn llwyddo i ymgysylltu gyda disgyblion a rhieni er mwyn adnabod anghenion disgyblion.
Bydd y mwyafrif o anghenion ein disgyblion yn cael eu diwallu trwy addysg o ansawdd uchel mewn gwersi prif ffrwd. Ar gyfer rhai disgyblion ag ADY a nodwyd, mae angen addasiadau rhesymol o fewn yr ystafell ddosbarth.
Gallai hyn gynnwys amser ychwanegol i brosesu gwybodaeth, defnyddio troshaenau lliw i ddarllen, neu leoliad eistedd penodol o fewn y dosbarth. Mae’r addasiadau rhesymol yma’n cael eu cofnodi mewn Proffiliau Un Dudalen i sicrhau bod yr holl staff yn ymwybodol sut orau i gefnogi disgyblion unigol.
Ar gyfer disgyblion y nodwyd bod angen cymorth pellach arnynt, mae rhaglen gyfoethog o ymyraethau targedig ar gael i ddiwallu amrywiaeth o anghenion unigol. Gall y rhain fod yn byr-dymor neu hir-dymor ac yn canolbwyntio ar rwystrau penodol i ddysgu, er enghraifft, anghenion llythrennedd, rhifedd, cyfathrebu neu les emosiynol.
Mae rhai o’n hymyraethau wedi’u targedu a’u hymgorffori yn strwythur y cwricwlwm, tra bod eraill yn golygu newid bach i’r amserlen brif ffrwd. Bydd anghenion disgyblion yn cael eu cofnodi trwy Broffil Un Dudalen a bydd targedau unigol yn cael eu gosod, eu monitro a’u hadolygu’n barhaus.
Caiff ddisgyblion gydag anghenion dysgu ychwanegol, sy’n derbyn darpariaeth targedig, eu cefnogi gan yr adran ADY. Cymerir pob gofal i sicrhau y bydd y gefnogaeth bwrpasol a gânt yn eu helpu i gyflawni eu nodau personol.
Bydd pob un o’r disgyblion yma yn derbyn Cynllun Datblygu Unigol a fydd yn cael ei adolygu’n flynyddol.

Ysgol Cwm Rhymni is committed to providing an inclusive education for all pupils and constantly strives to meet pupils’ needs on an individual basis. Through person centred practice, staff are able to engage students and parents in order to ascertain the needs of the pupils.
The majority of our students’ needs will be met through high quality teaching and learning within the mainstream classroom. For some students with identified ALN, reasonable adjustments are required within the classroom setting. This could involve additional time to process information, alternative methods of recording information, using coloured overlays to read, or a specific seating plan. These reasonable adjustments are recorded in One Page Profiles to ensure all staff know how best to support individual students.
For students identified as requiring further support, there is a rich programme of targeted interventions available to meet a variety of individual needs. These can be short term or long term and focus on specific barriers to learning, for example literacy, numeracy, communication or emotional and wellbeing needs. A few of our targeted interventions are built into the curriculum structure, others mean a slight change to the mainstream timetable. Pupils’ needs will be recorded through a One Page Profile and individualised targets are tracked, monitored and reviewed on an on-going basis.
Students with identified additional learning needs, and therefore require additional learning provision, are supported by our ALN Department. Every care is taken to ensure that the bespoke support they receive will help them achieve their own personal goals. Each of these pupils will be provided with an Individual Development Plan which will be reviewed annually.
