Sketchbook Assignment #3

For this assignment, I chose the prompt to draw a prized possession. For this assignment, I drew a locket that I got from my grandmother. I found it interesting because, although I wear this locket a lot, I do not actually have a picture in it. I do not get to see my grandmother very often since we moved and she lives further away now...because of this, I wanted to represent fading memories of sorts. The locket is also tarnished, which adds to that idea.
