I saw these apples on my kitchen table and noticed the contrast between the red and green so I reorganized them by putting the green apples in a circle around a red one. I liked how the green apples came out blurred so the red stands out more.
This is an up-close picture I took of a Chinese Checkers game board. Before taking the picture, I rearranged the pieces so there would be both analogous colors and contrasting colors. I'm proud of how I got the background to blur with a clear focus on the green and yellow pieces.
While photographing for this assignment, I noticed the colors looked better if I didn't use yellowish light which was the light I was getting from the lights in my room. To take this picture, I turned all the lights off and used only a flashlight as the light source. I was inspired by a photo I saw on Pinterest and convinced my sister to put paint on her hands so I could take this picture.
