Purpose:
To strengthen creative problem-solving skills;
To learn how to see everyday objects in unique ways, unusual ways (unusual perspective)
To find letters in our surroundings/everyday objects
To photograph positive and negative space to create letters/words, you have to look at everything from many different perspectives. It’s important to pay attention to the makeup of lines and shapes. Contrast is significant because it makes the letters clearer to see. In both natural and human-created spaces, all photographed letters need to be original, it cannot be a photo of the intended letter that’s already made up. In conclusion, there needs to be a contrast between the background and the lines/shapes making up the letter.
