Estrategias Activas de Aprendizaje: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) y Filosofía "Aprender Haciendo"

Utilizando de manera fundamental metodologías y estrategias activas basadas en el descubrimiento del aprendizaje por parte del alumno de manera activa, globalizada, significativa y cooperativa. Búsqueda de soluciones ante la resolución de retos en los que muchas soluciones y ritmos de aprendizaje son posibles. Siendo así, la “filosofía Aprender Haciendo” (Learning by doing) y el “movimiento STEAM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) dos objetivos y áreas de contenidos prioritarios en nuestras asignaturas de tecnología. Otro aspecto que perseguimos es la “alfabetización digital”, que cosiste en educar en un uso responsable y consciente de la tecnología, manteniendo y fortaleciendo la educación en valores, adaptando tiempos-frecuencia de uso y seleccionado contenidos adecuados de manera progresiva desde las etapas iniciales hasta las superiores, y en definitiva filtrando y utilizando especialmente las posibilidades de la tecnología que “mejoran y complementan” la educación de nuestros hijos.

Active Strategies: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) & Make Movement

We use methodologies and active strategies in a fundamental way based on students' discovery of learning in an active, globalized, significant and cooperative way. Searching for diverse solutions in the face of challenges is permitted, as many answers are possible, as well as learning paces. Make Movement and the “STEAM movement” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) are two objectives and areas of content that take priority in our technology subjects. Another aspect that we aspire to is “digital competency”, which consists of educating in the responsible and conscious use of technology, maintaining and enforcing education in values, adapting times and frequency of use, and choosing adequate content in a progressive way, from the initial stages to the higher ones, filtering and using the technological possibilities that “better and complement” the education of our children.
