Experiencias de CAS
The CAS Program is made up of different types of EXPERIENCES, which differ according to duration, complexity and areas of C-A-S that it covers.
A Single Experience normally is carried out in one day, concentrates several hours of work and most of the times has a goal that is already defined (a specific organization that calls an event). That's why, not all CAS stages are always applied. The reflection of a single experience will depend on the depth and meaning that she has for the student.
A series of experiences consists of two or more CAS experiences, which are similar or related to each other. A series of experiences doesn't meet the criteria of a project, however there is the CAS stages application.
A Project contemplates a longer duration, since it consists of a series of CAS experiences that are sequential, planned and last a minimum of one month. All CAS projects are designed with a purpose and objective and have to use the CAS stages as a framework. Reflection it's a key element throughout the project. Registering the project in the portfolio you must consider the application of the five stages of CAS and the reflection must be present at the beginning, in the process and at the end of the project.
El Programa CAS se compone de diferentes tipos de EXPERIENCIAS, las que se diferencian según duración, complejidad y áreas de C-A-S que abarque.
La experiencia puntual generalmente se realiza en un día, concentra varias horas de trabajo y casi siempre tiene un objetivo que ya viene definido (por ejemplo, por una organización determinada que convoca a un evento). Por esto mismo, no siempre se aplican todas las etapas de CAS. La reflexión de una experiencia de CAS dependerá de la profundidad y significado que haya tenido.
Una serie de experiencias consiste en dos o más experiencias CAS, que tienen similitudes o que se relacionan entre sí. Una serie de experiencias no alcanza a cumplir los criterios de un proyecto, sin embargo hay una aplicación de las etapas de CAS.
Un PROYECTO contempla una duración mayor, ya que consiste en una serie de experiencias de CAS que son secuenciales, planificadas y que tienen una duración mínima de un mes. Todos los proyectos de CAS tienen que utilizar las etapas de CAS como marco de trabajo y se diseñan con un propósito y objetivo definido. La reflexión es clave durante todo el proceso en que se ejecuta el proyecto. El registro en el portafolio debe considerar la aplicación de las cinco etapas de CAS y la reflexión debe estar presente al inicio, en el proceso y al finalizar el proyecto.
