8th-Yadkin County Cattleman Association

The Yadkin County Cattlemen's Association is proud to present a scholarship to a student planning to pursue or is pursuing a career in agriculture.  The scholarship will be given to a well deserving student(s) who is a resident of Yadkin County and attended high school in Yadkin County.  This program provides a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $500 per scholarship, for up to 4 scholarships (based on available funding) for the year 2020. The scholarship is for undergraduate studies.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS WILL BE BASED ON:

1.  Satisfactory Scholastic Record

2.  Leadership Potential 

3.  Character

Applicants must enroll or be enrolled in the field of agriculture or an agriculturally related field.  The two year Agriculture Institute at North Carolina State University qualifies.  Community Colleges and Technical Institutes also qualify.

Applicant must complete all of the application forms and attach your transcripts from high school or college grades.  Application must be submitted to Mrs. Mathews by April 8th, 2022. All information supplied will be treated as confidential information.
