1st-T.Moody Davis Scholarship

Each year the T. Moody Davis Family will award the T. Moody Davis Scholarship to a graduating senior student-athlete from Forbush High School. The recipient who demonstrates qualities of outstanding achievement, dedication and determination in the classroom as well as on the playing field.  The Scholarship amount of $1000 will be awarded to one student for a period of one year.

Criteria

Criteria for selection of the recipient will include the following:

·        Evidence of excellence in the school in both course selection, 3.5 GPA or better.

·        Minimum of 3 years participation (including Senior year) in Forbush High School athletics.

·        Evidence of completing a minimum of 50 hours of community service during their 4 years as a high school student.

·        Evidence of involvement in extracurricular activities, community and church. 

·        Evidence the student has already shown interest in and concern for being a contributing member of society.

The scholarship is available to students regardless of race, sex, national origin, religion or handicap.
