When you leave Wyvern you have a completely free choice as to where you go next.
You might decide to aim for University, go to college, join the Armed Services or apply for apprenticeships, the choice is yours.
We have collected together information on the most common options, to make it easy for you to start your research
Sixth form colleges
A levels are academic qualifications mainly offered by sixth form colleges. They are an excellent preparation for further study at University.
General vocational colleges
offer a variety of courses, usually linked to one area of work. Their courses tend to be more practical than A levels and assessments are usually a mixture of tests and coursework/practical assessments
Specialist colleges
are colleges that specialise in one are of work or study.
Apprenticeship providers
An apprenticeship is a job with training. You get one by researching, applying, being interviewed and being the best candidate. Some training providers specialise in training for apprenticeships and can help candidates find vacancies to apply for.
Armed Forces
the Armed Forces offer a wide variety of opportunities, some are available to school leavers.
