World of Work Day 4th July 2022

Our annual World of Work day takes place on 4th July this year and we need help from local employers and employees to make it happen.

We are looking for people to take part in our Careers Speed Dating activity for pupils in years 7 and 8 from 9.45am to 12.15pm. You need to be confident telling your career story and taking questions from small groups of students.

We want our older students in years 9 and 10 to gain a deeper understanding of how Maths, English and Science link into Careers. we are looking for people to come and talk to pupils in their classes (up to 30 students) about their job, their career path and how their training and qualifications have supported their career journey.

Our aim is to inspire our students with a lifelong love of learning and an understanding of how it can benefit them.
