Before you can install the engine, first you will need to Install Epic games. If you already have this skip to the next section.
Click on this link to take you to the Unreal Engine Download
Select Download
Once downloaded, if it is not visible in your browser, go to your downloads folder and double lick to run
Select the folder you would like your install to go to >> Select Install >> Wait for install to finish
Once the download is complete Epic games should open, if this is not the case you can open it manually in the start menu by selecting the Epic Games launcher
Select Sign in with Epic games
Sign in with you account info, if you are not already signed up make an account
Once signed in, the Epics app will open
Once opened select Unreal Engine on the left
Then select Library at the top of the app
You will now have the Engine Library open, this will show your currently downloaded engine versions, projects and Downloaded content from the epic store.
Select the plus button in the Engine Version section, A new UE engine version should become visible (See second image)
7. From here:
Select the Engine version you want
Press install
Change install location if necessary
Select Install
The engine will now install, this may take a while. Once done the Game engine should be ready to launch
You can now access Unreal Engine through Epic games
