In Substance Painter, finish your textures and save your project.
Go to File > Send to > Substance Stager.
You model will now open in Substance stager
Select the Environment tab (top right panel).
Try different Environment Lights (HDRI maps) from the library.
Rotate the light with the rotation tool (or in the environment settings).
Add extra lights:
Use the Light Tool (top bar).
Choose Directional, Point, or Spot lights.
Position and rotate lights to highlight your model.
Frame your model in the Camera View.
Activate Ray tracing (Top right of screen)
Go to the Render workspace (Top left of the screen).
Choose your Render Settings:
Resolution (e.g. 1920x1080)
Raytracing ON for higher quality (optional)
Select File location (Where would you like your render to save)
Click Render.
When done, click Export to save your image (e.g. .png, .jpg).
Note: Stager animation tools are basic. You can animate camera movement, object rotation, or light movement.
Select the object you wish to animate
In the properties select the Animation Tab
There are 2 options, Orbit and Spin select your prefered choice
Once selected you can change the animation duration/Rotation amount/Target offset
You can play your animation using the timeline at the bottom of the screen
Go to the Render workspace.
Select File location
Set your frame range (e.g. 0–90).
Choose MP4 as the output format.
Click Render.
Once complete, export/save the MP4 video.
