This is my fourth year teaching. I grew up in Wasco and was a student here at Thomas Jefferson. I attended CSUB where I earned my BS in Biology and I am currently working on my MA in Education. My favorite things to do when I am not teaching is hiking, reading, and playing with my dogs.

This will be my 6th year in education and 2nd year teaching. I’ve worked as a tutor, outdoor camp instructor, and substitute teacher. Now I get to teach scientist everyday and I love it! I graduated from CSUB with my BA in Liberal studies and am currently attending Point Loma Nazarene University and working on my single/ multiple subject teaching credential and my masters.

I graduated from CUSB in 2016, and have a BS in Natural Sciences with concentrations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geology.
This is my first year at TJMS and I bring 5 years of teaching experience.
I obtained my teaching credential through the Kern Urban Teacher Residency Program at CSUB in 2017 and my BILA (Bilingual authorization) from CSUB in 2020.
My hobbies include art, gardening, hiking, and reading. I am also the author of InterSpanish Podcast, a podcast for intermediate Spanish language learners to help them improve their listening comprehension skills of oral language.
