I grew up in the Central Valley but moved to Ohio to attend The Ohio State University, where I obtained my degree in Early Childhood Education. I began teaching in 2000 and arrived in Wasco in 2014 after moving to Bakersfield. My teaching motto is: making mistakes is part of learning, so if you never make mistakes, then why am I here?
My favorite hobby is traveling around the country; however, since that is not possible right now due to COVID, my favorite hobby is Pokemon GO. I have visited both China and Greece, which are two of the countries we study in 6th grade. I hope to travel to all of the countries we study someday.

If I could tell you something about me is that I came from a very poor but hardworking family. I had the opportunity to work in the agriculture fields along side of my parents and siblings. I understand the hard life that some students may have and because of that I would like to be the support that some students need.
