8th grade Physical Education Teacher & Girls Soccer Coach

• MA in Sport Studies from United States Sports Academy. BS in Physical Education from CSUB

• I have been a part of the Wasco School District for 21 years.

• I have been coaching soccer for over thirty years and I have been coaching the girl’s soccer team at TJ for 21 years.

• My hobbies are too many to list, but the major ones are wood working, reading, and gardening. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren, traveling, working out, and listening to music.

7th Grade PE ~ 7th/8th Grade Leadership

I have taught at Thomas Jefferson for 26 years, 20 of those in Physical Education. As part of the 7th grade curriculum, we also engage in a Health and Nutrition classroom based unit. I am also the Leadership class advisor. I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelors in Physical Education before moving to Wasco to start my teaching career.

I have coached basketball, soccer and volleyball during my years at TJ, and also run my own sports camps through NOR in Bakersfield every summer.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and family, traveling in our motorhome, watching baseball, and cycling.
