I’m a Wasco product; practically born and raised here. I attended our local schools in Wasco and attended CSU, Bakersfield where I earned both my B.A. & Teaching Credential...as well as my M.A. & Administrative Credential.

I have worked in the Wasco schools as a 6th grade teacher for 8 years and as an administrator for 17 years. My wife and I are still raising all five of our children, except they're not little anymore. Two of them are in high school and the other three are attending college (virtually of course).

Oh, the places and things I enjoy! I enjoy Jarritos drinks, Diet Cokes, street tacos, and I can't say no to sweet cream filled and messy donuts. If I could be anyone I would be Me! I enjoy going places with my family such as theme parks, football games, and wrestling tournaments. Someday I hope to attend an actual MMA event as well as visit a dinosaur exhibit and pet a real dinosaur (okay, I'll settle for petting a Galapagos tortoise).

My name is Mr. Acosta and I am your Assistant Principal. I have 15 years of educational experience and am currently in my 5th year here at Thomas Jefferson.

I was born and raised in Wasco and attended local schools. I then went on to earn a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from Point Loma.

I have been married for the past 11 years and have two daughters.

I enjoy technology, golfing, and spending time with my family.
