This is my 28th year of teaching at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. I moved to Wasco the end of my 6th grade year and I attended Thomas Jefferson Middle School from 6th - 8th grade. I graduated from Wasco High School. I received my BA, my teaching credential, and my Masters degree from California State University, Bakersfield. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my grandchildren. I believe all children can learn and that knowledge is power.

This is my 32nd year of teaching at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. I was born in Wasco when Wasco had a hospital. I went to Karl F. Clemens Elementary until 5th grade. I grew up in Wapato, Washington and graduated from Wapato High School. I received my BA, my teaching credential, from Central Washington University. I’m one of 19 siblings, 10 brothers and 9 sisters. I’m also a first generation American of Mexican descent to graduate from high school and college with the help of my parents Antonio and Cruzita Juárez and the help from all my brothers and sisters. If you work hard good things will happen.

This is my 14th year teaching. I grew up in Shafter, but my heart is teaching the kids here in Wasco. I attended CSUB for my BA in Liberal Studies. Last year, I completed my MA from CSUB in Education Curriculum & Instruction. I’m a vegetarian that flirts with veganism. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy working out and running with my dogs. I come from a long line of educators and have always believed in the importance of education and hope to instill in my students that same love of learning.
