2nd Grade Narratives
In Spring 2021, Remote 2nd Graders embarked on a month-long study of narrative writing. After reading several sample narratives, identifying story elements, and using our friend "Braidy" to think about story structure, students then wrote their own narratives! They brainstormed topics, planned their story, worked on creative leads, revised to include dialogue and juicy detail, and published their work. We learned a lot about the writing process AND great narratives.
