A: For Freeflow classes, you will work at your own pace. Generally you will want to complete a minimum of four assignments a day in order to stay on track. If you have additional time in the school day, you are encouraged to do an extra assignment or two and get ahead in your classes. With this model, you are able to get classes done sooner. As soon as you are done with your current quarter or class, we can add you to the next quarter or class requested.
Students are still expected to finish their classes by the end of the quarter. For example, if you are signed up for English 10 quarter 1 at the beginning of the school year, you can either work ahead and finish early or finish on time by the last date of the quarter.
A: Pacing refers to how often you are turning in assignments and making progress on your classes. Assignments have due dates attached so if you are turing in your work on or before those due dates, you are on pace. If you are turing in work after the due date has passed, you are behind pace and will want to work with your subject teacher, Raven Time teacher and/or student advocate to make goals to get back on pace.
