"In Grade 9 Science, I enjoyed all the units, but my favourite was either the Astronomy or Chemistry unit.
The labs and assignments were the most enjoyable as they are entertaining, but also informative.
The assignments were also awesome as they enabled students to express their creativity." - NV
"My favourite thing in Gr 9 Science was testing chemicals to find out how they would react. I was surprised that we were allowed to use actual dangerous chemicals. But don't worry, the teachers will show you how to perform the labs safely."

"In Grade 8, I thought that highschool was going to be extremely difficult, but with the support from the amazing teachers at Southwood, my experience was smooth and straightforward.
I also thought that science was going to be just pen and paper work, but it was actually very hands-on and was filled with activities that allowed for student participation." - AK
"My favourite thing from grade 9 science was the labs, where it was easy to socialize and make new friends.
My advice to the new grade 9's would be to take lots of notes, as it will help you for your tests. Make lots of friends and have fun!"
