Besides wish assists, there are occasionally also “out of territory wishes” within the international organization. An “out of territory wish” is a wish that is granted by an affiliate or chapter for a wish child who is from a different territory. Often, children travel to another territory for medical treatment. While a child is in a different territory, they can choose to apply to the local Make-A-Wish affiliate or chapter. This document outlines the process that has been developed for out of territory wishes.
