Since 1980, when Disney was part of the first official wish, the company has helped Make-A-Wish fulfil more than 140,000 wish experiences that not only brighten lives for a special moment, but also help wish children and their families replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy and anxiety with hope.

With close to 1,000 Disney wishes granted every year outside the United States - including visits to the Disney Parks, Disney Cruises, meeting Disney Celebrities, attending premieres and visiting sets, Disney-themed wishes continue to be one of the most popular requests by children to Make-A-Wish.
