Volunteering Opportunities

A participant can obtain valuable training, work experience, and potential employment with an employer through a volunteer opportunity.  Although there are numerous volunteer opportunities with various organizations, a participant seeking future employment should consider volunteer opportunities that will enhance their skills in an industry of interest, where they can add volunteer experience to a resume, or where volunteer connections can lead to a job.

Please see below for a list of established volunteer programs. A coach and participant should explore volunteer opportunities with organizations closer to a participant’s home or in an industry of interest.  These could include small private organizations, government agencies, or non-profits/ community-based organizations.
