WorkSource Oregon RBS offers the following services to Work Ready job seekers:
Building strong relationships with participants to develop outreach plans targeting employers.
Assisting job seekers in finding quality jobs.
Negotiating, coordinating, and facilitating job development placements.
Providing ongoing support during the on-the-job training.
Writing training plans with participants and assisting with processing subsidized employment paperwork.
Coordinating with WorkSource employment services and training programs to eliminate barriers to employment.
WorkSource Oregon RBS offers the following services to local employers:
Building a strong relationship with the employer to be the sole point of contact for the employer’s business needs.
Offering enhanced services, such as full cycle recruitment & job fair assistance.
Informing employers of hiring incentives, tax breaks or credits, and helpful, relevant programs.
This dual approach of supporting job seekers and local employers streamlines the hiring process, making it more convenient and effective for both groups.
To refer a participant to the local WorkSource Oregon RBS Team, first ensure the participant is Work Ready. Work Ready candidates are defined as quality participants that have been identified as having the necessary job search and technical and interpersonal essentials to propel them to the top of the talent pool.

iMatchSkills Profile: Stand out to employers with a complete profile.
*WorkSource Welcome: To complete the WorkSource “Welcome Process,” a participant must meet with a WorkSource Staff member at any WorkSource location to complete WIOA registration, discuss goals, and verify their career progression plan. Your WorkSource Liason can assist with this.
Job search basics: Learn about job vacancies that best align with skills. Get the basics right with job title, duties, and employment dates.
Current resume: Impress employers with a tailored, error-free, and professional resume.
Core-employment skills: Show off the certifications and skills needed for the desired job.
Soft-skills readiness: Develop interview skills and interpersonal communication.
Address barriers: Develop a plan to remove barriers such as child care and transportation.
Interview ready: Make a great impression with the appropriate clothing and a positive attitude.
Your WorkSource Liaison can help ensure your customer meets the Work Ready requirements and facilitate a connection to the appropriate WorkSource Oregon RBS staff member. Each WorkSource Oregon RBS staff member is an expert in a specific industry in a specific geographic area; they may know of additional local job leads in their targeted industry. When contacting your WorkSource Liaison to submit a referral to the WorkSource Oregon RBS team, include the targeted industry your participant is looking for work in to ensure the referral gets to the industry expert on the WorkSource RBS team.
