Each course is accessible as a distinctive url (web page link), and each course has been constructed as a separate "website," specifically a website using the Google Site app. Typically, each course has 3 to 5 navigation tabs at the top of the page, each of which leads to a separate page, and usually one of those pages has sub-pages underneath. As noted previously, page with links to all the courses in each of WISR's three degree programs is: https://sites.google.com/wisr.edu/lms/courses
The vast majority of WISR courses have five major pages--a home page, an outcomes and goals page, a modules page, the action-research lab page, and the resources page--and in the next pages under the "online courses" tab on this Guide, we highlight what you may expect to find on each of the main four pages. In addition, most courses have a fifth page, a "resources" page--listing and linking to some added resources that may be useful. Typically, we list some readings that will help you with developing stronger writing skills, in your own voice, and in learning how to reference sources in a systematic and professionally acceptable way. We often will list some related, further readings related to the course topic, and/or give you links to some open access sources of high quality readings.

Discuss all this with your chosen primary faculty advisor, and if you wish, also with WISR's President or Academic Dean. The purpose of this Guide is to give you an overview of what to expect with, and how to use, WISR's online courses. However, it is not a substitute for also discussing these matters with WISR faculty so you can make sure that you understand everything and are comfortable in making good, and effective, use of WISR's online courses.
