Showmanship

Showmanship teaches you how to handle your dog in a conformation show. In 4-H showmanship, your dog is not judged.

Showmanship training teaches you and your dog valuable skills. Your dog learns to accept their body being handled - which helps your dog accept grooming and veterinary care. You learn more about caring for your dog, such as brushing their teeth, filing their nails, and grooming their coat.
