Jump Heights
Jumps are set at different height according to a dog's size, measured by their height at their shoulder. Jump height is regulated by Jr handler USDAA.
Use a shorter jump when your dog is beginning to learn jumping skills!
You can start teaching your dog foundation skills for jumps. It's great exercise for dogs.
You can build a jump to train with at home! Make sure the jump bar can fall off the jump if your dog bumps it. This is important to make sure your dog can't get hurt while practicing. Practice jumping on a soft non-slip surface, like grass.
You don't need a jump to start training! You can lay a broom handle on the floor and follow the steps in the videos below!
