Bring your posters to the Youth Expo Building on Tuesday of Fair Week between 1 and 6 pm for conference judging by the Vet Science Area Judge. Posters will be placed on display in the Youth Expo Building.
Canva.com is a popular tool for making posters! Create a new design using the School Board template (11"x17"). When your poster is complete, download your file and send it to a printer, such as Rice Lake Printery. Ask your poster to be printed on 11"x17" cardstock.
Use all the space on your poster. The margins should be 1" or less.
Make sure you understand everything you put on your poster. Your judge will ask you questions about your poster!
If your poster includes facts, but sure to cite your source(s) correctly. If you use multiple sources, use footnotes or a references list. You don't have to remember all the APA7 rules to make a citation - use a free online tool like Citation Machine instead!
If you use photos from the internet, make sure they have a Creative Commons license. Attribute the photos as directed by the creator.
