Step 1: Lesson Standards & Learning Goals
Students will apply addition and subtraction strategies to find an end time, elapsed time, or a start time.
In 3rd grade, students determined elapsed time within an hour.
In 4th grade, students will determine elapsed that crosses over the hour. Students should use tools such as clocks, timelines, and tables to solve problems.
Note: This standard could include situations which may result in a multistep problem.
