Vocal Guided Audio Files
This link will lead you to all of the vocal guided tracks to practice along with. In your script, you will see in bold when the track starts. Some of the tracks are full songs, while others are just music and sound effects to read along with.
While it is obviously important that we perform just like the songs, it is equally important that our lines, when reading with a song, follow a similar rhythm. Often times, the music will change with the dialogue between characters. Sometimes the music will sound happy, then immediately change to urgent. If our lines are not lined up perfectly, this will appear strange.
Performance Files
Once you have mastered your songs and lines with the vocal guides, move on to these tracks where you can practice along with just the background music. These are the same exact files we will use for our performance.
The track names look the same, but you will notice there are no voices.
Disability in the Big Blue World
One of the fantastic things about Finding Nemo is the underlying message that just because someone is different, doesn't mean they can't make their own decisions about what they can and can't do.
Please watch this video with your student and share your thoughts with each other about what you watched!
Costume Needs
If you need to reference this document, please make sure to locate the correct character. If you have any questions, please email Casey Dowling at cdowling@whiteriver.wednet.edu.
January Rehearsal Calendar
Here is the rehearsal calendar for January. Find your student's character.
It is super helpful if you can read through the lines for the day with your student before they come to rehearsal to familiarize them with their words.
Highlighters are also great!
